Why the BEC?

With the increased demand for reducing energy consumption, the BEC can broaden your career opportunities. This program provides practitioners in operational and system maintenance roles the foundational concepts that relate to reducing energy consumption from a technical perspective.  This program teaches the necessary skills to enable the implementation of sustainability efforts in the built environment.

What Will I Learn?

This program teaches the necessary skills to enable the implementation of sustainability efforts in the built environment touching upon key learning objectives in electrical systems, HVAC, air quality, water treatment, alarm systems, and energy management.

This certificate is recommended for those in operational and system maintenance roles.

Certificate Requirements

To achieve your certificate, you must complete all three courses and achieve a grade of 70% or higher on each course exam.
